NHS Dental Charges

Recent NHS changes means that we only provide NHS dental treatment for patients who have received NHS dental care from us since 2005, though we do treat new adult patients, or those seen before 2005, through private dental care.

We give priority to children and patients with special needs. Treatment from an NHS Dentist is still free for children under 18 (or under 19 if in full-time education), pregnant women, new mums, and those on some benefits.

Payment for dental treatment is currently:

  • Band 1 - £12.00
  • Band 2 - £39.00
  • Band 3 - £177.00

These must be paid on the first appointment unless in band 3, which is payable at the start of treatment.

Private Treatments

Private Dentist treatment will be estimated and you'll be given a personal dental treatment plan. We operate an item of service, where you pay as you go and not a monthly scheme. Price guides are available upon request.

Routine Dental Treatment

Routine check-ups are important for dental health and we recommend professional tooth cleaning to remove plaque build up, and to clean the areas of the mouth that are hard to reach. Our routine services also include scaling and polishing, filling of dental caries, and professional advice on proper oral hygiene and dietary education.
